Exported file looks different than the preview in Repper

To keep the editor speedy while you're designing, patterns are by default rendered as bitmap in Repper. The pattern should look the same in the bitmap preview and the eventual vector export, but sometimes they are not.

Here are some ways to investigate what the problem may be and how to resolve it.

Solution 1: Remove unsupported SVG features

Repper does not support all SVG features. You will see an exclamation mark (2) next to the Vector indicator (1) in the Pattern panel if you are using unsupported SVG features.

If you see this indicator, this is a likely reason for the exported file to come out wrong. Here is a list of all unsupported features, including tips on how to fix them.

Solution 2: Share the issue with us

If removing unsupported features from your SVG image doesn't solve the problem and your exported pattern still looks different from the one in Repper, please send us a bug report.
