Here you'll find advanced tips on using effects in Repper.

Just one for now, but, we're adding more soon 😊

Optimize Duotone range

The Duotone effect helps you reduce the amount of colors by turning brightness into a color gradient. Its Monotone and Tritone work the same, just with fewer and more colors.

Here's a example:

Of course, you can tweak the Duotone colors to change the look, but what if you wanted to apply the colors in a different way the the original image?

Open the Color Adjustments effect and get ready for a surprise!

Below are 6 variations, all created simply by changing the Brightness and Contrast in the Color Adjustments:

Make it a subtle background by increasing the brightness

Create more contrast between foreground and background by increasing contrast.

Subdue the overall pattern by reducing brightness (and maybe bumping the contrast a bit)

Go all-in on brightness and contrast, and you can even isolate parts of the image (this works best for source images with only a few solid colors).
